Gig Harbor Art Walk
(1st Sat. of Every Month)
Recognized by Sunset Magazine as one of the 5 best small town Art Walks in the Northwest, the Gig Harbor Art Walk takes place the first Saturday of every month from 1-5pm. Enjoy the many shops and galleries in historic downtown Gig Harbor with special demonstrations each month. Pick up an art walk passport at any gallery and be eligible for a monthly drawing prize worth $100.

The Zoo salutes young readers with a free day at the Zoo, in partnership with the Tacoma Library's summer reading program and the Tacoma Mayor's Office.

Puyallup Fair
September 5-21
It's not too soon to get ready for the Puyallup Fair! A lot of exhibition forms are due by the second week of August. Be sure to go to their site for the extensive number of competitive events that are available. Also, check out their concerts page for some super entertainment. Such names as Ronnie Milsap, Carrie Underwood, Fergie, Frankie Valli, Sarah Evans, Kid Rock and more will be onstage at various times during the fair. Also, rodeo fans definitely won't be disappointed with three days of "everything rodeo!"
